The IDEALIST project continues its journey across Europe with its fifth and final Learning Expedition, taking place in Nantes, France, on 10–11 June 2026.
Organised by the project partner ALBATROS, this last edition will bring together industrial SMEs, technology providers and innovation actors for two days of on-site learning, knowledge exchange and networking, with a strong focus on 3D printing and hybrid manufacturing processes.
A hands-on experience of advanced manufacturing
In Nantes, participants will engage in a dynamic programme combining:
- Technical conferences addressing advanced manufacturing solutions
- A Strategic Foresight Workshop to explore future industrial trends
- Networking moments with European peers and experts
- Site visits to leading industrial and R&D organisations, including Airbus Atlantic, Daher-Shap’In, Loiretech and IRT Jules Verne
These visits will provide first-hand insights into cutting-edge technologies applied to sectors such as aerospace, composites and advanced manufacturing.
Travel support for SMEs
To facilitate participation, travel vouchers are available for SME representatives, covering travel expenses up to €500, depending on the country of origin and through IDEALIST partner clusters.
This support aims to ensure that companies can actively engage in the event and benefit from the international exchange of knowledge and expertise.
Get involved
Participation is open to industrial stakeholders interested in exploring advanced manufacturing technologies and building new collaborations at European level.
In addition, professionals and organisations are invited to contribute to the programme! Apply as a speaker for the technical conferences.
