From 9 to 11 March 2026, the IDEALIST project joined the global composites community in Paris at JEC World 2026, the leading international event dedicated to composite materials. The exhibition brought together companies, research organisations, clusters and innovation actors from across the world to showcase the latest developments in advanced materials and manufacturing technologies.
For IDEALIST partners, the event represented an important opportunity to connect with industry stakeholders, exchange with other EU-funded initiatives and strengthen collaboration within the European innovation ecosystem.
Networking across the European innovation ecosystem
During the event, several networking moments enabled IDEALIST partners to engage with companies, clusters and representatives of other European projects active in the field of composites and sustainable materials.
A key highlight was a European projects networking cocktail, organised together with the cluster Polymeris, which brought together industrial members and project representatives to discuss European funding opportunities and collaboration possibilities for SMEs. The event also provided the opportunity to exchange with representatives from projects including BIOntier, ZEvRA EU Project, THERMOFIRE CBE-JU, BIO-UPTAKE, EoLO-HUBS and MAT4EU.
Fostering collaboration and new connections
The programme also included a visit by a delegation from the Association of Industrial Automation of Ukraine (APPAU), led by IDEALIST partner Alexandre Yurchak, as well as a matchmaking session involving several companies and innovation actors interested in exploring new collaboration opportunities.
By participating in events such as JEC World, IDEALIST continues to strengthen connections with the European industrial ecosystem and support dialogue between companies, clusters and innovation stakeholders working on advanced materials and manufacturing.
