The IDEALIST project launches the Call for Challenges for Hack&Match #4, a collaborative innovation process designed to support European companies in addressing real industrial challenges related to Advanced Technologies for Manufacturing Industries.
Hack&Match supports European companies in addressing real industrial challenges by connecting them with tech-savvy SMEs, research centres and innovation experts across Europe.
This edition focuses on:
- Additive Manufacturing (3D printing)
- Hybrid manufacturing processes
- Advanced robotics
- Autonomous systems
Who can apply
- Call for Challenges: open to SMEs, mid-caps and large companies facing specific technological needs related to advanced manufacturing.
- Call for Solutions: addressed to tech-savvy SMEs, start-ups, researchers, technology centres and innovation hubs willing to respond to the challenges collected.
Selected participants will work in European teams to co-develop concrete and applicable solutions.
Registration and key dates
- From 12 January to 13 February 2026 → Call for Challenges: SMEs, mid-caps and large companies can submit their current challenges related to advanced manufacturing technologies.

- From 16 February to 20 March 2026 → Call for Solutions: tech-savvy SMEs, start-ups, researchers, technology centres and innovation hubs can propose solutions to the submitted challenges.
