On 10-11 September 2025, IDEALIST was represented at the ECCP Clusters Meet Regions event in Ajdovščina, Slovenia, by Chiara Callegari and Riccardo Zanelli from COMET – Cluster Metalmeccanica Friuli Venezia Giulia, members of the IDEALIST communication team.
Organised by the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP) on behalf of the European Commission, the two-day event brought together cluster managers, regional development agencies, SMEs, public authorities and research organisations to discuss regional innovation, industrial transformation and cross-border cooperation in the North Adriatic area.
Given the strong geographical and economic links between Friuli Venezia Giulia and Slovenia, the event offered COMET an excellent opportunity to exchange views with neighbouring innovation ecosystems and promote IDEALIST’s support opportunities for SMEs.
In particular, the team highlighted the project’s Hack&Match activities and Technology Uptake opportunities, encouraging new connections between companies, clusters and technology providers.
Crossing borders, sharing opportunities: IDEALIST continues to bring SMEs closer to the technologies and partnerships shaping Europe’s industrial future.
