On 20 May 2025, IDEALIST partner GIE ALBATROS successfully hosted the first Strategic Foresight workshop organised by one of the project’s industrial partners, bringing together 17 companies in Nantes.

The workshop marked the beginning of a broader foresight process involving IDEALIST’s 11 industrial clusters, each of which will organise four workshops between 2025 and 2026. These sessions are designed to support signal collection and sense-making, helping companies identify early signs of technological, economic, regulatory and market changes that could affect their industrial ecosystems.

The signals collected across the different workshops will later be analysed and consolidated by IDEALIST partner 4CF, providing a cross-sector perspective on the emerging trends and transformations shaping the project’s target ecosystems.

For SMEs, Strategic Foresight means more than looking ahead: it means spotting change early enough to turn uncertainty into informed decisions, resilience and new business opportunities.
