“What’s new in the future EU research agenda and what do you wish to be considered?”

On 14 October 2024, IDEALIST partners Geokompetenzzentrum Freiberg, Chemie Cluster Bayern and DITECFER joined forces to organise a webinar focused on the future European research agenda for primary and secondary raw materials.

The online event introduced participants to emerging research priorities within FP10, the next EU Framework Programme after Horizon Europe, and ERA-MIN3, highlighting future funding opportunities and strategic topics linked to sustainable raw materials, green and digital transitions.

The webinar also provided an opportunity to present how SMEs can benefit from IDEALIST’s business support activities. Meng-Chun Lee from GKZ and Ting Liu from CCB introduced the project’s support measures, while Irina Vescu from DITECFER presented the upcoming IDEALIST Learning Expedition in Florence, dedicated to practical applications of Artificial Intelligence and blockchain for SMEs.

By combining insights into future EU research priorities with concrete innovation opportunities, the webinar helped connect SMEs with the tools, knowledge and networks they need to prepare for future challenges.
